back to home February Travels 2007

Mark had some traveling to do with work.  Since we homeschool, we traveled along with him!   We got to see a lot of neat things!  Mark was getting a little jealous!  :-)

February 4-10, 2007 we were in Dallas, TX
Mandi and the kids spent a lot of days at Fair Park in downtown Dallas, there are quite a few museums there.

RR Museum at Fair Park - choo choo!
We also went to the Dallas Zoo and an aquarium.
We also went downtown to "the ball".  We went up in it and got quite a wondeful view!  You can see were JFK was shot from there!

Then we were home for one week.
Here was one of Mandi's valentines......
Sadie is almost 10 months old! Growing so fast!

This week we went to Minneapolis, MN.
February 19-24, 2007  Our kids are adapting to hotel life pretty good.  Usually these three are sharing a mat on the floor, but made them nap this day and they asked to be in the bed.

Mark and Malachi rode the A.C.E.S flight simulators

It is not a trip to Minneapolis without going to the Mall of America, right?  At least this time.  We've been there and done that, as far as I'm concerned though.  I'm not a big mall person.
One night at the Mall, we rode the rides.  Well, Sadie took a little nap
and then
rode some rides!
Malachi

Cosette
We all rode the large ferris wheel too!
The kids had so much fun, but we were very exhausted!
It isn't a trip to Minneapolis without getting a picture next to one of its most famous icons!

We went to Como Park and Zoo.  The conservatory was beautiful!  I didn't want to leave this taste of spring!

It was SO COOL to see a Polar Bear!  I hadn't expected that!  It kept swimming right up to the glass, it's paws are so huge!  Wow!  God is amazing how he has created all these creatures!
We got rained on a little on far side of the river on this Old Mill bridge downtown.

Our last night, we got Timberwolves tickets and saw a professional baseball game.  I
t was fun.  The kids really enjoyed it.
