April 30, 2008 The kids finished their Awana year at Byron Center Bible Church in Michigan.
Cosette finished her first year in Cubbies! She did a great job in memorizing scripture for the first time. |

Cale finished his third book in Sparks. He'll be in Truth in Training next year! Wow! Our own church is mailing him his plaque that will go on our wall to remind him of his accomplishment. He actually finished before we left Wichita.  |

Malachi finished Book 3 in Truth and Training. He's got 1 more to go next year. He finished before we left Wichita, and got his plaque before we left.  |

Afterwards, this church has a neat thing called the Fairmont Fair. I guess they don’t give bucks during the year, because each kid got an envelope with awana bucks, 10 or 20 I think and they have a fair after the awards ceremony. They get to play carnival type games for a buck each and can earn different amounts of tickets or candy. Then when their money is spent, they can go to the store to spend their tickets. Pretty streamlined event. All of that lasted from 6:45 to 9:00. They had the JV kids help run the games for the younger 3 clubs.
The kids really enjoyed their time and already made some friends. Praise the Lord for the unity of the Holy Spirit!
