We went blackberry picking August 2nd, 2005 at a place called
Blackberry Heaven which is off of Highway 254 just East of Towanda.
We had fun picking them. Then Cosette discovered they were for eating!

We ended getting almost 6 pounds! Yum!

We did this field trip because we are reading the book Blueberries for Sal for school this week.
Blueberries don't grow well in Kansas, so we had to substitute blackberries.
Malachi is 8 years old and is in 3rd grade.
Cale is 5 years old and is in Kindergarten.
Cosette is 19 1/2 months, and likes to color and play with her brothers.
