Of Flip Flops and Fairies

Cosette loves her flip flops, or blips blops as she calls them since she can't pronounce /f/ at the beginning of her words yet.  It started with a little girl who came over with flip flops and Cosette just had to try them on.  She tries on everyone's shoes...but she loved them and cried when the girl had to leave with her own shoes on.  So the grandma who was happening to be coming for a visit the next day, was recommended to find some flip flops for her while she was here.  It is hard to find strap free flip flops in size 6 but we found ONE pair!  Cosette wouldn't even take them off in the store to buy them!  She wouldn't take them off to nap when we got home.  In fact, I had to compromise (with a 2 1/2 year old!) to JUST have them in her bed that night for bedtime and not on her feet!  She wore out the first pair pretty quickly and this is her second pair.  She loves them!  (and I love them too since she can put them on herself!)

Cosy loves dresses too.  She chose to wear this dress even though its the middle of the week, no where special to go...what a girlie girl....sometimes.

...don't know where she gets that....it didn't come from her mommy!  :-)
