Cale's Day!
We've been periodically going to the Byron Fun Spot on Thursdays for the homeschool skate. Since Cale's birthday fell on a Sunday, we thought we'd have a party there instead with our homeschool friends. (We just had to have our cake outside afterwards! We actually had homemade baked doughnuts with the burnt sugar icing he liked from studying Thomas Edison!)
Cosette has gotten quite good on skates this winter!
And then the girls switched skates and here's Sadie in the same ones!
The Brentanas and the Tilburts joined us.
Mark came too on his lunch break and snapped a shot of me helping the girls. I like the rink because they let me wear my tennis shoes and walk the floor with the girls.
That night we gave Cale an electric guitar because he saw his brother's guitar and wanted to play too. We figured that they could use both of them and learn acoustic and electric that way.
