Isaac surprised us and came 1 1/2 weeks early! Which, since most of my children are 2 weeks overdue, it was REALLY a surprise! I had no indication that labor was going to happen and then my water broke at 1:00 a.m. on February 2, 2010! I don't usually start that way, but I could tell after about 20 minutes that this was going to go fast and hard. We decided not to even send the kiddos anywhere else, they'd probably sleep right through it, which they did! My midwife arrived by 2:30 and he was born by 3:52 a.m.! Labor just under 3 hours! He was perfect. He was 21.5" long and 10 lbs.
I don't push for long, so my kids don't have cone heads, they come out with bowling ball heads!
But they are so worth it!

We had planned on filming the kids' first view of Isaac, but because we were both so tired and sleeping, me with Isaac in bed and Mark in the back room on the futon, slowly they all woke up and we didn't get the "first view" on film! Cosette woke up first and then Sadie. Then Cale came in and Malac was last. They were all stunned to see a baby there though since we'd been telling them it would be at least another 2 weeks! You could see it not computing at first and then slowly they'd realize who was laying there!

Malachi took this great picture of Cosette with Isaac yawning

Sadie holding Isaac, awwww, look at that grin on her face, big sis!
We had our first visitors, Grandparent's and an Aunt and Uncle and cousin. Here's Grandpa C.
and Grandma C.
oops, cut Aunt Katie out of the picture (sorry you've been upstaged by the newborn!)
Uncle Troy and Chase. Chase wasn't too interested in the baby, especially at first. Little does he realize he'll have a little sibling of his own in a few months too!
What blessings these little ones are from the Lord God Almighty! Praise Him for these miracles!
