at 11:58 a.m. on April 19, 2006
She weighed a surprising 10lbs and was 20 1/2 inches long.
Mom and baby are doing just fine. Official labor began around 5:00 a.m., but wasn't too hard until the last 2 hours.
But as all births, God's grace got us through it with no complications, although I guess the funny thing about having a home birth is
the possibility of the UPS man ringing your doorbell right after she was born! If he looked into the little window on the door, which I doubt,
he would have gotten a big surprise!
Malachi, Cale, and Cosette are very excited to have their new baby sister to hold, and mommy's lap to sit in again. (at least part of the time)
Cale said, "I just keep smiling mostly!" after sitting on the couch with Sadie for a while. What a cutie!
