Another kind of swim league

Well, Malachi skipped last year for swimming since we had just moved, were unsure about cost with owning 2 houses and all that, plus it was hard to track down information about the teams!
This year, he wanted to pick it up again and swim. It sure was a different kind of season!
We swam for the Byron Center Dawgs, which is about 7 miles straight west of where we live, although people would say, "you live clear over that east?" I don't get it.
The real bummer of the year is that it is all indoors! Which, for practice, I'm glad that my child isn't near hypothermia at the end of every practice, but I really missed being outdoors for the meets. At least I'd get some tan! And, some of the pools were the typical hot and muggy places, including our own "home" pool. Hard to survive being newly pregnant!
Malachi did well and improved his times through the year.

It was a trick to keep these three occupied for the meets. But we survived.
